Home Inspections - For some, it is a great learning experience. For others, a sobering reminder that no home is perfect. Either way, a home inspection is a critical step in the home purchase process.

A home inspection is defined as a visual inspection of what your home is doing. So a much as a home inspector would like to, we are not going to tear down any walls to tell you what is behind them.

Also, keep in mind that a home inspection report is meant to be thorough and comprehensive, so it can sometimes read a little bit like a horror novel. Not every item in your report is always critical and dire. Many items tend to be small maintenance items and things to watch out for.

All-in-all, a home inspection is a wise investment, and a great tool.
